The Pikes Peak Center has a new name. It will now go by the short-andsnappy moniker: The Pikes Peak Center for the Performing Arts. (Yes, it s just a couple of blocks from the short-and-snappy America the Beautiful Park.)

What makes America "America the beautiful"? Our guess is that, for many people, that phrase conjures up mental images of the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Zion or some other natural wonder that has been preserved and set aside for the enjoyment of all.
